Design Flexibility

Sliding windows provide uncomplicated design flexibility, and allow wider and taller openings compared to other window styles.

This makes them a popular choice for contemporary architecture with a simple design aesthetic.

Sliding windows are perfect for rooms facing walkways, porches or decks because they slide horizontally rather than opening outwards.

FINISHES

With Trend's extensive palette of colours you’re sure to find exactly the right hue to express your individual vision.
  • Western Red Cedar

Western Red Cedar is renowned for its natural beauty and colour variation.
It works well indoors and outdoors, and achieves any look from natural and rustic to clean and contemporary. It also resists warping, cupping, twisting, rot, and termites. To enhance cedar's grain and colour it is most commonly stained, however it is possible to achieve a painted finish.

  • Meranti

Meranti is of medium hardness, is easily handled and machined, and is very reasonably priced. It has a uniformly straight grain with few variations and is resistant to warping, cupping and twisting. Meranti readily accepts both stain and paint finishes. It's widely used for decorative applications, including windows, doors, moulding and skirtings.

HARDWARE

Finishing details can take any design to a whole new level and that’s especially true of door and window hardware.
  • Sliding window lock - Traditional

Cedar is supplied with satin chrome hardware as standard. The satin chrome finish may vary across hardware items.

    Serenity

In busy, urban environments, noise is constant. There is an increasing need to reduce unwanted noise from road traffic, trains and aircraft to create a more comfortable living environment, promote a healthier sleep, reduce stress, and improve concentration. By choosing an appropriate glass for your specific location, you can significantly reduce the amount of ambient noise that penetrates your home.
