Botanica Double Hung Windows

Whether you’re embarking on a renovation or restoration, the eternally popular double hung window is perfect for recreating traditional Australian architectural styles.

Now you have even more choice, as you can select from either our traditional or counterbalance double hung windows.

The sashes in a traditional double hung window are operated manually either up or down on concealed springs.

The counterbalanced double hung window provides smooth operation of the two panes in a single movement. Both feature an easily removable sash to assist with painting.
  • Counterbalance sash allows for taller and wider sashes
  • 100mm window restrictors available to prevent falls
  • Four horn design options: Trend horn, Lamb’s tongue horn, Bullnose horn, Splayed horn
  • Seals to prevent window rattle, and improve weather performance
  • 4mm to 18mm glazing pocket
  • Range of glazing options to improve your home’s comfort, acoustics, security and privacy
  • Screens available
  • Timber species
  • The Botanica timber series features a unified design and size range, and is available in either cedar or meranti. Botanica is constructed from engineered timber to minimise the effects of sun and moisture on the product over time and both cedar and meranti are sustainably sourced with a traceable chain of custody

  • Choose the perfect glass enhancements for you
  • Australia has some of the harshest sunlight in the world. Your choice of glass can help not only reduce harmful UV rays but can also increase your home’s insulation, reducing both your carbon footprint and your energy consumption.

In busy, urban environments, noise is constant. By choosing an appropriate glass for your specific location, you can significantly reduce the amount of ambient noise that penetrates your home.

There are two types of Grade A safety glass available. Grade A safety glass is harder to break and offers greater security against accidental injury, attempted break-ins and severe weather conditions.

The privacy range of glazing options allows for high level light transmittance while obscuring the view from the outside.

Offering the warmth, texture and tactility that only timber brings, the Botanica range is remarkably energy efficient and equally at home combined with concrete, stone, ceramics, or bricks.
